Correct the BOOTPROTO line to read: BOOTPROTO=none Add or correct the following lines, substituting the appropriate values based on your site's addressing scheme: NETMASK=[local LAN netmask] IPADDR=[assigned IP address] GATEWAY=[local LAN default gateway]
